Three sections report to the Director of the Library and Information Center, the Library Section, the Digital Archives Section and the IT Section. Next to the two Section Chiefs for the Library and the IT Section the Center has 12 full time staff members.
- The Library Section is responsible for acquisition, cataloging, circulation, reference, promotion and other tasks related to the Library.
- The Digital Archives Section is one of the world's foremost centers for the digitization of Buddhist Culture. We support the Buddhist Informatics Study Program and the administration of a large number of grant sponsored projects. The section gathers and creates digital content, adds Metadata and develops interfaces for the various digital collections at DDBC.
- The IT Section is responsible for the development of the eCampus system, the college website, IT software and hardware support.
