The General Affairs Mission

 

The General Affairs Division supports other administrative and academic units. It strives to create a refined, warm, safe, and engaging environment, facilitating the faculty and students in their dedication to and enjoyment of research, study and learning. For the sustainable development and promotion of the College’s affairs, the Division focuses on the following areas:

1. Enhance the efficiency of administration and information networks
2. Ensure campus security and administrative communication
3. Put into practice various environmental-friendly measures
4. Enhance the Division’s development and service

 

The Duties of the Division of the General Affairs include

1. Campus motor vehicles management
2. Campus landscape maintenance/management and recycling program
3. Faculty/staff dormitory management and application
4. Safety management, fire prevention audit and training, emergency response management
5. Safety facilities examination and inventory; planning and execution of safety education training activities
6. Purchase and bidding of administrative items, equipments, and facilities
7. Maintenance of electrical facilities; planning, approval, bidding, contracting, constructing, monitoring, and examination of construction projects
8. Facilities management and maintenance
9. Management and maintenance of infrastructure
10. Miscellaneous maintenance tasks
11. Campus buildings, real estate, and facilities management
12. Asset management
13. Faculty/staff dormitory arrangements
14. Leasing of campus space
15. Insurance
