Directions to Dharma Drum Mountain World Center for Buddhist Education

The Center is located in Sanjie Village, Jinshan Township, Taipei County. At the kilometer sign 40 on the Provincial Highway #2 （Danjin Highway）, you will see the Dharma Drum Mountain Emblem Rock, leading to the Center. (Click here to see the photo)

Depending on where you are traveling from, use the following information to find your way.

1. Taipei City→Chongqing North Road Interchange→Dadu Road （Provincial Highway #2乙, or Coastal Highway）→Danshui→Danjin (Danshui-Jinshan) Highway
2. Taipei City→Yangmingshan National Park→Yangjin (Yangmingshan-Jinshan) Highway (Provincial Highway #2甲)→Danjin (Danshui-Jinshan) Highway
3. Sanchong City→Wugu Interchange→Guandu Bridge→Zhuwei→Danshui→Danjin (Danshui-Jinshan) Highway
4. Freeway #1 （Zhongshan Freeway）→Badu Interchange→Jijin (Jilong-Jinshan) Highway→Wanli→Danjin (Danshui-Jinshan) Highway
5. Freeway #3 （the 2nd Central Freeway）→Wanli Interchange→Jijin (Jilong-Jinshan) Highway →Danjin (Danshui-Jinshan) Highway

Note: We advise Freeway #3 since it’s faster. You can take Freeway #1 (Zhongshan Freeway), exit at Xizhi Interchange and change to Freeway #3 (the 2nd Central Freeway). For more detailed directions, click here (only in Chinese).

【City Bus】Jinshan－DDM World Center for Buddhist Education

Bus No. 828 and 829 for the Jinshan area run between Jinshan Hospital and the Center. The Easy Travel Card is accepted on the bus. Click here to see the timetable (only in Chinese).

【Intercity Bus】Taipei City－DDM World Center for Buddhist Education 〈Guoguang Bus〉

The trip takes around 1.5 hours. The Guoguang Bus operating between Taipei and Jinshan has a fixed timetable. There are 7 buses on weekdays. On weekends, there are 13 buses to the Center and 21 buses from the Center. For detailed information, click here (only in Chinese).
Take the bus at the Taipei Intercity Bus Terminal (at the intersection of Chongqing N. Rd, Civic Boulevard, and Beiping W. Rd). Click here to see the map (only in Chinese). Get off at the Dharma Drum Mountain Center stop.

【Intercity Bus】Taipei City－Jingshan Youth Center 〈Guoguang Bus〉

The trip takes around 1.5 hours. The bus runs every 5-15 minutes.
Take the bus at the Taipei Intercity Bus Terminal. Get off at Jinshan Post Office stop, and then transfer to Jinshan City Bus No. 828 or 829 (You will find the stop where you get off) to the Center.

【Intercity Bus】Taipei－Yangmingshan－Jinshan 〈Royal Bus〉

The trip takes around 1.5 hours. The bus runs every hour.
Take the bus at the stop in front of the Dental Department of National Taiwan University, across from No. 32 Gongyuan Road. The bus runs through Zhongshan North Road, Jiantan MRT station, Taibei High School, and Chinese Culture University.
Get off at the Jinshan Post Office stop, and then transfer to Jinshan City Bus No. 828 or 829 (You will find the stop where you get off) to the Center.

【Intercity Bus】Danshui－Jinshan 〈Danshui Bus〉

Danshui Bus： 0800002277 or 02-26227331
The trip takes around 1 hour. The bus runs every 15-30 minutes.
Take the bus across from the MRT Danshui station, next to a CPC gas station.
Get off at the Jinshan Township Hall stop, and then take the Jinshan City Bus No. 828 or 829 to the Center.

【Intercity Bus】Danshui－Jinshan－Jilong, or Keelung 〈Keelung Bus〉

(Keelung Bus：0800588010 or 02-24323185)
The trip takes around 1 hour from Danshui to Jinshan (faster than the Danshui Bus) and runs every 15-30 minutes.
Take the bus at the MRT Danshui station to its right, in front of Fu Lin Men restaurant. Get off at the Jinshan Township Hall stop, and then take the Jinshan City Bus No. 828 or 829 across the road to the Center.

【Intercity Bus】Jilong, or Keelung－Jinshan 〈Keelung Bus〉

(Keelung Bus Jinshan staion：0800588010 or 02-24982155)
The trip takes around 50 minutes. The bus runs every 10 minutes.
Take the bus in front of Renxiang Hospital under the overhead bridge to the right to Keelung railway station.
Get off at the Jinshan Township Hall stop, and then take the Jinshan City Bus No. 828 or 829 to the Center.
